Let's go up, up and away!
Have you ever wondered how it feels like to fly like a bird? to admire the world from up above? to glide in the air and feel the wind against your skin? to have fun and feel free while you are many feet away from the ground? If you are like me who's a chaser of these kind of experiences then Paragliding is one adventure you shouldn't miss.
Tandem Paragliding
Tandem flying is paragliding with a certified Tandem Pilot. Tandem flights use paraglider wings large enough to accommodate the pilot and his passenger. In this kind of flights, the passenger is seated in front to give him the chance to admire the view and enjoy the experience while the pilot is seated behind to give him the space to control the flight.
Paragliding at Carmona, Cavite
The Paragliding flight area is located at Carmona Ridge in Cavite (near Carmona Estates, Barangay Lantic). I recommend to book a schedule in advance because the pilots can advise you when is the best time for you to come. Paragliding is very dependent on the wind strength and weather condition. There are days when flights are not possible so it is better to get an expert's advise. There are few pilots available. Get an appointment to make sure that you or your group will be accommodated.
Rates:
> One passenger (Pax) only, individual booking:
2,300 - weekdays
3,300 - weekends/Holidays
> Booking of 2 Pax (per pax):
2,100 - weekdays
3,100 - weekends/Holidays
> Booking of 3 Pax or more, group-booking (per pax):
1,800 - weekdays
2,800 - weekends/Holidays

The flight
I really enjoyed my 15-minute air time. The wind was very favorable during my turn. Olivier, the pilot, was able to go higher and even take some "roller coaster" turns which made me shriek with laughter. Gliding in the air made me feel like a kid in my first adventure ride. Fuuuuunnnnn!! :))
And HOOORAAAAYYY, it's another bucketlist check!! :)

Hope you enjoyed the experience. Paragliding it´s a great activity that allows you to have some amazing vistas. Parasailing tours have also become important on places like Cancún. It´s great to have a panoramic view over the water.

DeleteWow..........! Nice post. Glad i found this post. I think paragliding is really the best way to fly high like a bird in the sky. Touching Cloud Base offer tandem flights and paragliding lessons. We even provide the paragliding equipments for the students. So, enjoy paragliding in india with us.

ReplyDeleteHi i just wanted to know are there any one who will take you a picture while you are flying?
ReplyDeleteIn my case, it was my friend who took my photo. Since the flight is one person, one pilot, there will be people in the jumpoff who you can ask to take your photos. Also, the pilots can lend you their go pro, you just have to pay 500 for the memory card.

DeleteGlad i found your post. My question is how much time maxx can we stay up on the air? I know you said 15 minutes, ganyan lang ba talaga ka tagal?
ReplyDeleteHey! Yup, around 15 minutes lang. We were a group when we went there, so kelangan talaga mga ganyan lang katagal kasi kelangan din timingan na ok ung wind. Maybe if mas onti kayo, pwede kayo magrequest to extend. hehe :)
