I’ve spent the past two months in Munich, and I thought I’d share some of the restaurants I’ve tried around the city.

Munich is such a hotspot for tourists, so there is no shortage of places to eat. On most days, I found myself hunting down new spots based on whatever I was craving at the time. After a while, I ended up a list of my favorites places that I’m excited to share.

COFFEE AND BREAKFAST

I am not a breakfast person but I love brunch. Here are some of my favorite spots for coffee and bread:

Man versus Machine Coffee Roasters

A trendy coffee shop which is famous among both tourists and locals. 

Cafe Haidhausen

Perfect breakfast or brunch spot to try Bavarian favorites. This is a Kaiserschmarrn — a must try dessert!

LAX Eatery

If you crave American breakfast, this is your spot. 

RESTAURANTS

Ok, your girl is Asian so most of the restaurants here are influenced by that!

Takumi

I was in Munich during the winter. Takumi’s warm ramen broth gave me all the comfort I needed after cold walks around the city.

Mamma Bao

If you are up for a spicy kick, their Asian spicy level will do the deed!

This restaurant is conveniently located in Sendlinger Tor. People lining up outside is all the confirmation you need to give it a try.

We celebrated New Year’s Eve here and availed their four-course dinner. No regrets! All dishes prepared were phenomenal.

Giorgia Trattoria

An Italian spot famous among influencers for all the good reasons.

Azuki

Wow, just writing this down makes me miss Munich so much!
