Day 4. Hong Kong - Macau solo backpacking trip.

A day trip around the grandness of Macau!

How to get there?
From the PH, there are direct flights from Macau. If you are coming from Hong Kong, you can take a one-hour ferry ride.

Inside the Cotai Water Jet ferry
I availed a Cotai Class ticket from Cotai Water Jet ferry for 165HKD. You can book your ride online in advance -> https://ticketing.cotaiwaterjet.com/cwjbooking/#/index.

How to go around Macau?
There are buses and taxis that you can take around Macau. But if you are looking for a cheaper means of transportation, avail the free shuttle rides offered by the different hotels and casinos.
Here's my route:
From Macau Taipa Terminal, take the free shuttle to Venetian Macau -> Deposit luggage at Venetian Macau hotel main lobby (10MOP per bag/luggage) -> Walk to Parisian Macau -> Walk to City of Dreams -> Take free shuttle from COD to Macau Maritime Ferry Terminal -> Take bus 10A to Senado Square ->  Walk around Senado Square and St. Paul Ruins -> Walk to Casino Lisboa -> Walk to Wynn and watch the fountain show -> Ride free shuttle from Wynn to Macau Maritime Ferry Terminal -> Ride free shuttle from terminal to Venetian Macau -> Claim baggage -> Ride free shuttle from Venetian to Macau International Airport.

Where to go?
Macau is all about gambling, glitz and glamour. If you are like me who is not a fan of casinos, I think one day is enough to see the famous destinations in the country.  Here are some of the pictures from the places I've visited:
The Grand Canal at the Venetian Macau

The Eiffel Tower replica at the Parisian

Senado Square

Ruins of St Paul Cathedral

Casino Lisboa

Water fountain at Wynn
