Just an hour away from Singapore is the island of Bintan, Indonesia.

How to get there
Take a ferry from Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal to reach the island. There are three ferry terminals in Bintan: Bintan Lagoon, Bintan Resorts and Tanjung Pinang. It is best to check which terminal is near your resort for less hassle. Our resort is near Bintan Lagoon so we took the Mozaic Ferry Lines. Roundtrip ticket costs around SGD90, depending on your travel date. Tip: Book your ferry ahead of your trip to get best ferry schedule especially on weekends.

Where to stay
We stayed at Nirwana Beach Club. The resort has a wide range of facilities such as restaurants, bars and entertainment areas. We were even given a complimentary ticket for the bowling alley.
We really enjoyed staying in the resort. It was peaceful and relaxing. Before taking the trip, we planned on wandering around Bintan. But upon reaching the resort, we decided to just chill and enjoy our stay.

What to do
Honestly, the best thing to do in Bintan is just to beach bum. You deserve this holiday!
The beach in front of Nirwana is a perfect spot to swim and chill.
